Camping outdoor gear
I am not a real big camper, but when it’s summer time I can’t resist to get out of the city and go camping. My last trip I went to camping on the Oregon coast. My first night I opened up my brand new tent, set it up, and went to bed. Man did this suck. I kept tossing and turning. The next day I went and bought a air mattress. I forgot I have one that I left at my parent’s house. I still have a few items I left their after moving to my own apartment. So, I headed out to find some good camping outdoor gear and had buying an air mattress on my mind.
After buying the mattress I go back to the camp. However I notice a guy selling dry logs for a great deal. 9 logs only cost $5.00. Earlier my friend spent $5.00 and only got 5 logs. I bought a hand pump to blow up my mattress but thought I could use my hand held electric broom. And it worked. I thought it would. I still have a brand new pump that I guess I will use as a backup.
This outdoor store I went to in Tillamook Oregon had some neat items. One that caught my eye was a hammock that was built on a stand. It coast around $100.00. I did notice some nice fishing gear, but my friend and his wife are not into fishing so I didn’t buy anything. I need a fishing license anyways.
I was camping at Bar view right outside of Tillamook. A lot of people were catching fish. I went up to see what they were catching. They told me perch. This was the same exact fish others were catching last weekend at Seaside Oregon at the cove. I usually seem some Asian guys fishing there. This made me wants to go buy my fishing license and give it a try. I watched them fish and in about 30 minutes one of the guys had one on his line. He then slung it into his bucket. He also accidently caught a crap, but let that one go. And I am sure it’s because he would have got a huge fine if he would have kept it.
The point of my story is make sure you have the correct camping gear because it sucks when you don’t have it.
