After work I turn to extreme couponing on TLC. I love ways to make money and this show is all about saving money. One lady had a retail price of $600.00, but after all her coupons paid around $6.00. Amazing. I think alot of these grocery stores are catching on and restricting how many items one can buy. One of the ladies had to call some friends up in order to finish her transaction.
To me it appears these have an addiction and alot of time on their hands. Obviously one can not make a living cutting coupons. One of the ladies would buy a months worth of products for her family. It’s crazy they can have around 20k worth of products. I was thinking these people could use coupons to feed the homeless or donote them to the homeless shelters.
My main goal in life is to make money from the capitial system then give back. Once I get my own passive income rolling then I plan to develop systems to attack the big corporations and help the average person. So this coupon tv show is in line with my thinking. They are taking from the rich corporations even though the companies think they are cleaverly promoting there products.
I just watched an A and E hoarding buried alive show. I found the part were the people talking with the clinical pyschologist. I have taken a course on this subject and taking part two this term. Very intersting and full course. From what I have seen hoarders get mentally attached to the objects they hoard. It’s as if they have a story related to their past, tied to a particular item. I noticed one lady talked about her husbands dealth, later the hoarding started. I infer she finds happeness for a short period after or during buying items.
My dad is a small time hoarder, but he hasn’t let it take over his house, yet. Only kidding (about the taking over the house). After living in a cluttered house all my life, I currently live realativly clean. I still need to keep clean, however I don’t hoard. Just clothing. This shows it’s all mental and onces one gets this, living cleaner is easy.
