Google keyword research tool
Recently I bought five or so domains that I plan to build niche blogs. I picked a few that I personally have an interest in, however after doing some extensive keyword researching using the Google keyword tool also known as GKT I discovered some of my targeted niches are way too difficult to land on the first page of Google. Some had 150,000 back links. So, I just didn’t even bother thinking of trying to rank with this tough of competition. On the other hand I have a couple of domains that I should be able to rank for because the search volume is low and I’m guessing webmasters don’t even want to bother with such low searches. I learned today that I need to do my keyword research BEFORE I buy domains. I couple of my new domains I will probably just resell. I’m in the testing phase of building niche blogs so I guess it’s good to learn earlier than later. I’m just glad I did not buy 100’s of domains and not do the proper research.
So, basically I’m finding out that just building the niche blogs and finding what one thinks is a good market is just a small fraction of what you need to do. You really need to check what other webmasters are doing with the keywords you are after before you even begin to try and rank for certain words.
I do have find thinking of markets that might get searches on Google, but just thinking of all the work in making the blog popular is a daunting thought. I believe I will outsource this boring work. So far just discovering topics that interest me and a web audience is exciting to me. I will just pay to have the boring task done. That is if I can afford to do this.

vibram toe shoes seem popular |

Today I noticed an Information Technology worker wearing the vibram shoes that look as if the person wearing this shoe is barefoot. I started to talk to him about his shoes. I mentioned that I read an article about a guy who was running in them and did some damage to his feet. This guy said that he has heard both sides of the story. Some say great things and some say negative things.
This guy generally has sore feet and has a bad back. After wearing these shoes, his back pain is relieved. He mentioned that after wearing the vibram shoes and going back to his regular shoes he got blisters. Check out some other gear and outdoor and camping supplies and a blog of mine.
He began discusses that he likes to go hiking in them. I was amazed when he said this. I said I bet the work great in the sand. However he hasn’t walked in the sand with them so he didn’t have a comment. He paid $90.00 for his pair, but I see some on the website for around $80.00. You can really tell what type of surfaces you are walking on when wearing these shoes. He said that when he is on soft carpet he can really feel the softness. The sizes are a little different and go by 40-4-, whatever the website says. His wife wore a bigger size so it must depend on other factors.
I haven’t personally tried the shoes, but they seem from what this guy was telling me to be a great comfortable shoe. The way things rapidly change; this could be the new trend. Shoes that fit snug and shape around your toes.

golf discs |

I’m new to the game of disc golf and doing a little studying up of the sport for my new website called golf discs. From what I read one can become a decent player of disc golf even after only playing the sport for 6 months. Even a young child can score goals.
I will discuss some of the rules of disc golf. First you need three disc. One is a putter which is slow and easy to control. After you drive the disc with the putter you use an approach disc. And when you get close to the net you use a driver. Now these are much harder to control, but they have speed with them.
Disc golf has a par 3 with every hole. So if you get it in with just 2 shots then it’s a birdie. This is basically the same as regular golf. After you throw the disc you need to stand behind were the disc landed. You use a smaller disc as a marker. If your disc lands behind a tree you cannot move to a better location in order to bypass the tree. You have to take a shot wherever the disc lands. These are parts of the game that I have learned so far and I will keep you updated on my experiences.

Camping outdoor gear
I am not a real big camper, but when it’s summer time I can’t resist to get out of the city and go camping. My last trip I went to camping on the Oregon coast. My first night I opened up my brand new tent, set it up, and went to bed. Man did this suck. I kept tossing and turning. The next day I went and bought a air mattress. I forgot I have one that I left at my parent’s house. I still have a few items I left their after moving to my own apartment. So, I headed out to find some good camping outdoor gear and had buying an air mattress on my mind.
After buying the mattress I go back to the camp. However I notice a guy selling dry logs for a great deal. 9 logs only cost $5.00. Earlier my friend spent $5.00 and only got 5 logs. I bought a hand pump to blow up my mattress but thought I could use my hand held electric broom. And it worked. I thought it would. I still have a brand new pump that I guess I will use as a backup.
This outdoor store I went to in Tillamook Oregon had some neat items. One that caught my eye was a hammock that was built on a stand. It coast around $100.00. I did notice some nice fishing gear, but my friend and his wife are not into fishing so I didn’t buy anything. I need a fishing license anyways.
I was camping at Bar view right outside of Tillamook. A lot of people were catching fish. I went up to see what they were catching. They told me perch. This was the same exact fish others were catching last weekend at Seaside Oregon at the cove. I usually seem some Asian guys fishing there. This made me wants to go buy my fishing license and give it a try. I watched them fish and in about 30 minutes one of the guys had one on his line. He then slung it into his bucket. He also accidently caught a crap, but let that one go. And I am sure it’s because he would have got a huge fine if he would have kept it.
The point of my story is make sure you have the correct camping gear because it sucks when you don’t have it.

Camping and outdoor supplies
So what do you have planned to do this summer? Most people take vacations when the weather is good that is if you live in a cold climate like I do. I live in Oregon. I know it rains a lot here. So this summer I took two weeks off as soon as I got out of school. I take summers off. Except, I have to work all year round. Hopefully one day I will land a job within one of the school districts in the surrounding areas of Portland Oregon. To work for the schools one has to have either two years of college or pass a exam. A law exists on the books called no child left behind act. This was created by George Bush. So I am about twelve credits short of doing this. Then I will start aggressively applying to one of these positions and still take classes towards my information technology degree.
I took a tent, some snacks, plenty of water to my last camping trip. One thing I hate when I camp in a tent is the public restrooms. I begin to remember why I never go camping. This place has showers, but my friend forgot to tell me. So I did not pack towels. The beach is very windy near Garibaldi. This could be just the time of day, but big winds. Some gear I recommend buying is an air mattress (believe me sleeping on the ground is painful). I bought one the next night. I had too. Make sure you bring the correct Camping and outdoor supplies Pack lots of water if you are camping remotely. The place I had supplied water hookups because I was camping in my friends RV spot which comes with water and power hookup. One day when I can afford it I will buy a nice comfortable RV. Then I will forget the whole camping in a tent idea.

Rich dad poor dad book
Its Fourth of July 2011 and I didn’t really accomplish much however I did read Robert Kiyosaki book called before you quit your job. He has around 20 books out. I really like his books. After hours of reading and watching his videos on YouTube I kind of have another view of him. I discovered the seminars that use his rich dad poor dad name are not actually him. He apparently licensed this to a company that uses his name. I watched a video on YouTube of a popular news show which did a segment on this exact issue. The seminars cost $500.00 they do not give any real value advice on making money. One of the tactics is a lease option which requires you to convince a potential home seller to sell to you at a later date with a price you set today. A professional was interviewed and asked about the lease option tactic. He said no one is stupid enough to do it and if you do find someone it will take you forever. This seminar company basically is selling the customers who already paid $500.00 an expensive package which they didn’t go into. But it cost thousands of dollars.
Also, as I was reading, I came across the fact that Robert doesn’t tell you how to make money in a step by step way. He just gives general advice. I do like his quadrant and understood it much better from his video demonstrations. It’s easier to understand from a video versus reading it with words. Something gives me a suspicion that Robert could be a fraud based on doing business with some shady company that he says is in a contract with him. I heard Robert mention he has 1400 apartments, he owns oil rigs, something along those lines. But he doesn’t mention this really in the books that I can remember.
Overall I find his book inspirational and motivational. His quadrant is genius.
