When I was 18-22 I was pretty dam stupid with credit cards. I was between jobs and started using credit cards like it was free money. Later on I became in debt about 3k. Back then I was in denial that I actually owed money. The good thing after seven years I think it goes off your record. You may have to call the three major credit bureau experian, Equifax and trans union.
After constant phone calls from a debt collector I worked out a deal. I can’t remember exactly but I think it was half of what I owed. I was able to pay it off within 5-6 months. The debt collectors are pretty cleaver having you sign and fax that you will be paying payments. Saying they needed it for proof that you paid. Haha. I knew it was so if i default they have evidence I owed them money.
Even if your like me with past credit problems you can use this Loan Applications and probably get a loan or credit card through them. They work with people like me with past credit problems. This site is a great resource for all kinds of loans.
One of my old friends really got in debt, fifty thousand worth. Him and his wife filed for bankrupcy. He could of used this sites deb consolidation help.
