GPS Tracking Devices really help.

Over the summer I did some hiking mostly on the coast range in Oregon. I usually go alone but have seen many woman go with dogs. Just for humans its recommended you take a map, compass or GPS. Also to bring food/water, emergency kit, extra clothing, watch, sunscreen/sunglasses, Light source and footwear. The hikers with the dogs never seem to have the dogs on a leash. That’s when a dog tracking collars come in handy. Many times I will be hiking and the dog will run at me. This collars come in handy when this happens. Also if your dog sees a wild animal and takes off running then you have no idea were they are. With the Garmin Astro 220 you wont have any trouble finding your dog.

Another good use of the Garmin Astro 220 is for hunting with your dog. You can keep track of your dogs exact location at all times. You don’t have to stress finding your dog anymore. It has a waterproof exterior. Also comes with maps of the city streets with access to 6 million points of interest.
