Is Japans radiation really dangerous?
March 19th, 2011 under test this. [ Comments: none ]

From my experience the news is not always correct and generally exagerated. The media and experts are saying that the nuclear exposure in Japan poses no threat to the west coast. I happen to live in Oregon, 60 miles from the coast line. At first, I agree with the media and believe no real danger exist. But, after some thought, Can one really believe the government, scientist and the media. I think some things are not always like they seem to appear. And this situation has a possiblility of in accurate information.

Just because a scientist or professor has experience, does not mean they know everything. For example, I have taken a 200 level psychology course and learned psychologiest don’t even know why one dreams and a few other mysteries. I even noticed some things they discovered was on accident. People get cancer, and doctors, scientest, and not one of the billions of people on this planet have discovered how to cure this disease. So, perhaps, experts have no clue if this japan radiation will in fact kill.

Tommorrow the moon will be the closest since 1993 and one won’t see a similar moon distance until 2029. So, go watch it tommorrow, Saturday, March 19, 2011. I will try and post some picutures of the moon, if I remember. Friday, today, the moon was in full view. Although one could just barely see it with clouds covering a full view. This is some cool history and more enjoyable then watching the horrible disaster in Japan.

Rapper Nate Dog dies at 41
March 17th, 2011 under test this. [ Comments: none ]

By now I realize this is old news, but it was a really busy day for me. I grew up listening to snoop dog, nate dog and Warren G. While writing this I just now decided to play some warren G. If the dam video will ever load.

Nate Dog was best known for a vocal voice, singing in rap songs with Snoop. He had two strokes, one in 2007, the other in 2008. I am making an inference here, but perhaps these strokes or perhaps some drug use contributed to his death. He doesn’t look over weight, so, I don’t think this was a factor. I read he had congested heart failure. Maybe he wasn’t aware of it? Nate was a great singer and died much to early at 41 years old. Rest in peace. I know you are up in heaven.

I will let leave you guys and girls with a cut from Nate and snoop.

Do Fish Cooking Techniques Really Make a Difference? Research Recommends This Way

Eating fish elevated in omega-3 essential fatty acids may be associated with a reduced risk of stroke. New information suggests it’s not simply how much fish you take in that matters, but exactly how it’s prepared.

Dr. Fadi Nahab of Emory University led a team that studied the role of race and geography in stroke incidence, with a particular focus on the “Stroke Belt’’ inside southeastern United states of America, where stroke death rates are higher than the remaining country.

For the study, over 21,000 people answered a telephone survey about their fish consumption. African-Americans ate more fish each week than whites, nonetheless they were also 3 1/2 times more prone to eat at least two servings of fried fish each week than whites.

Fried fish consumption was 30 % higher within the Stroke Belt compared to the remaining areas of the country.

Eating fried fish may reduce health benefits in 2 ways, they said. First, lean fishes for example cod or haddock are more likely to be fried than omega-3-rich salmon, herring, or mackerel.

Second, frying fish is thought to reduce natural omega-3s and replace them cooking oils.

Finally, the analysis declare that consuming more fried fish might be associated with higher incidence of stroke.

CAUTIONS: The food surveys were a snapshot, so they really didn’t take into account dietary changes with time that could be crucial in stroke risk. More studies are required to establish whether individuals who eat fried fish are actually very likely to have strokes.

And also you? How will you cook fish? Here’s my magic fish recipe: “Mediterranean Fish Fillets”

Makes 6 portions.
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: Twenty or so minutes

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds firm white fish fillets, such halibut, striped bass or orange roughy
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 cup pitted Kalamata, green or black olives, cut by 50 percent lengthwise
2 tablespoons white wine
1 tsp . Basil Leaves
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Thyme Leaves

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat baking dish without any stick cooking spray. Place fish in single layer in baking dish. Gently salt and pepper the fish. Bake 12 minutes. If fish is over 1-inch thick, increase cooking to fifteen minutes.

2. At the same time, heat oil in medium saucepan on medium heat. Put onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened. Add tomatoes, olives, wine, basil, garlic and thyme. Simmer, uncovered, 3 minutes.

3. Remove fish from oven. Spoon sauce over fish. Go back to oven; bake 5 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily having a fork. Serve instantly.

4 hour drinks really do work
December 5th, 2010 under test this. [ Comments: none ]

Every time seems to slip by and I have some important work to get done, I drink 4 hour drinks. Used one today. For me they don’t really kick in right away, but they do the job pretty dam good. I’m up at 5 am right now without sleeping. I just studied all day for a business college class which I did really well, especially with only a day and few hours of studying. I will take another 4 hour tomorrow when I write my essay. I hope it goes well. I sorta waited till the last minute, but working and school at the same time really sucks. I got a method down though, first I write topics down then I form the ideas and in my mind see how it all fits together. All most everything in some form or another can related in life. This becomes really interesting once you see one class has same topics, but in totally different subjects. I guess that’s how the world works.

chrismas shopping addiction
December 5th, 2010 under test this. [ Comments: none ]

When one begins to really think about the holidays followers come to mind. Has the world lost touch of what Christmas. Even school districts lose track of the word Christmas and call it Holidays. Perhaps these holidays is a scam to get consumers to buy millions worth of items which will probably become outdated soon. I don’t mind getting the days off from work so I can’t really complain too much. I personally just don’t like to follow the crowd and fall for the capitalist scam of holiday shopping. Once one really starts to think about things the world seems to come to life and reality of what is really going on. For the most part, people are suckers.

raisim in american schools really exist
November 25th, 2010 under test this. [ Comments: none ]

I take some classes as I work part time. One of the classes psychology which happens to require five individual essays. I wrote a recent one relating to concepts, with many examples of racism throughout the paper. After much thought I came to the conclusion that schools across America are actually racist against black and Latino high school students. The national government has put out statistics showing that black/Latino high school students who took the SAT exam scored in the 800s, much lower then Asian and white students. As income goes up black/Latino go up, but whites still score higher.

I got to thinking. Why is this. What the hell is going on. Light bulb goes off. The teachers are not giving them proper curriculum. Teachers just give up on these minority students. Perhaps they stereotype these students as stupid people. I find this crazy, America can not see whats going on.

tips for guys going bald
November 24th, 2010 under test this. [ Comments: none ]

So you are getting a little older and noticed a little bald spot. Perhaps denial has set in. Every time you look in the mirror you really notice the bald spot. So what do you do?

You could just shave your head. However you will have to bic it if you want it to look good.

Buy a toupee.

Buy a wig.

Keep searching hoping to find a solution.

I don’t really know what to tell you. I do know of over the counter solutions. “Use it or lose it” television commercials. It sucks, but some men go bald. I’m starting, but not fully. Yet.
