energy bars help trim fat

It’s summer now and if you plan to take your shirt off in public you should be in shape. I admit I have let myself go way to far with being overweight. I actually just did a post on top 10 healthiest foods to eat. I didn’t see any famous fast food items on the list. I like to hike as a hobby which can really get you sweating. Some of my favorite trails are on highway 6 here in Oregon. These trails on are the way to the Oregon coast or at the coast. One of my favorite ones is called Kings Mountain. I have a book I bought about hiking called Oregon Hiking the complete guide to more then 280 hikes written by Megan McMorris. This hike is 3 miles and takes about 2.5 hours to do. Since I’m out of shape I have to stop many times to take a breather and drink so water. I also bring along with me some healthy snack bars to boost my energy. It must be the thiner air or the elevation because it really takes some energy for me to do this hike. I am overweight so I’m sure this has a factor. Also this trail doesn’t mess around it goes up to 2,700 feet at the peak. This trail is located in the Tillamook forest area. I have a short story to tell you. From 1930s to 1950s the Tillamook forest had some fires which burnt down 355,000 acres. This is enough timber to build 1 million five bedroom homes. The locals planted 72 million seeds so today you can’t really tell fires even took place. If you do go hiking along the Oregon coast make sure you take some food and water. I recommend some high protein bars.

I should of brought my hiking book on my last outing to the beach. My last trip I went more south in the Oregon dunes area. I rented a wimpy atv for a couple of hours. The dunes I picked I didn’t realize it is the biggest in Oregon. They are located in Winchester Bay. I’m looking in my book now and see 5 cool trails you can hike. Two of them are around a lake with great fishing. One which I was right next to hikes in the actual dunes for 5 miles. So I will have to do these my next trip down south. Don’t forget on your next hike to pack yourself some all natural energy bar and water at the bare minimum.
